This well-established Queensland owned and operated business is considered to be a leading mid-tier contractor with a strong portfolio of current projects and pipeline for future works. Their focus is predominantly on road projects although the company boasts a number of other successful results nationally.
As Site Engineer you will help deliver this TMR project based out towards Warwick. Scope of works
includes road widening slope stabilisation earthworks and retaining walls. Working for a highly respected Project Manager accompanied with strong construction team in place you will work closely with an experienced Project Engineer undertaking Quality Assurance and additional tasks stated below.
Reporting to the Project Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers
- Programming and daily planning
- Quality Assurance management
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients subcontractors and stakeholders
- Preparing financial reports and completing forecasts
- Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met
To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering Australian civil projects ideally to DTMR specifications and quality standards with a civil contractor in similar conditions. The successful individual must have at least 2 years main roads / TMR local council or other state main roads experience. The role offers an excellent initial package a good team and you will be home every weekend. This contractor has a strong pipeline of future work including landmark projects.
