Job Description
LaGrange College seeks to fill the position of Digital Resources Librarian in the Frank and Laura Lewis Library. Reporting to the Library Director the DigitalResources Librarian is responsible for managingall aspects of the electronic-resources life cycle (researching acquiring establishing access administering supporting and evaluating) as well as updating thelibrarys homepage and overseeing librarytechnology maintenance upgrades and troubleshooting.
Candidates should have at minimum a Mastersdegree in Library and Information Science Library Science or an American Library Association (ALA) accredited degree program and experience in an Academic Library. Knowledge of digital resources including EBSCO databases ProQuest databases Springshare the Library of Congress Classification SystemSIRSI Symphony a basic knowledge of HTML and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Organizational skills and project management experience are also desired qualifications. Candidates should have an understanding of and appreciation for the mission of liberal arts institutions
