JOB SUMMARY:
The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all MDS ground tests and flight tests. Ground test types include: pairwise tests Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI) Integrated Ground Test (GTI) Distributed Ground Test (GTD) cyber tests Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The System Test SME is responsible for the planning of all assigned test events with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event:
- Test objectives
- Architectures
- Data Item Descriptions
- Defense Designs
- Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings
- Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK) Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding Tables CDS TDACS TRAUT TDACS Comms Connectivity Matrices Event Configuration Baseline (ECB)
- System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs)
- BDR and PR applicability
- Certification Data Packages
The position also provides the following support:
- Support planning phase reviews and meetings
- Support customer boards and meetings
- Support Data Management
- Interface with developers
- Support government personnel during event execution phases when requested
- Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting
- Support analysis group
- Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs)
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least 1 year prior experience on the program in any capacity
- Self-starter with good communication interpersonal and problem solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program
- Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors shooters command and control systems and networks
- Prior integration and test experience with the program
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS PREFERRED: Bachelors degree in computer science mathematics physics engineering or related field from an accredited college or equivalent experience
