Job Description
Overview
Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an Urgent Care position in Socorro NM. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in Nursing and a minimum of two years experience in an ER setting. This role involves performing patient care ordering/interpreting diagnostics and providing treatment for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform entire patient care continuum of urgent care and acute patients in the Emergency Department
- Utilize available physician resources appropriately
- Demonstrate high confidence in treating patients
- Available for Primary Patient Care for patients of all ages
- 1728 clinical hours per year 12x12 hour shifts per month (11am-11pm) 30-35 patients per day No Call Physician on every shift
Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) in New Mexico (NM)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in New Mexico (NM)
- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
