Were seeking former Capital One Android Developers with a deep understanding of mobile application development Kotlin/Java proficiency and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. If youve previously contributed to Capital Ones mobile app ecosystem and are now looking for your next project this is the ideal fit.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Work within Agile teams and participate in planning code reviews and design discussions.
Required Qualifications:
- Former Capital One employee experience must be recent and verifiable.
- 8 years of hands-on Android development experience.
- Strong command over Kotlin and Java.
- Experience working in enterprise-grade apps with large user bases.
- Proficient in using Android SDK various Android frameworks and third-party libraries.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Jetpack Compose Dagger/Hilt and RxJava/Coroutines.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions).
- Experience working in highly regulated environments such as banking or fintech.
