Job Description
Now Hiring RNs
Star Nursing is actively seeking dedicated RNs for exciting opportunities. If you are looking for a flexible schedule competitive pay and a supportive team we want to hear from you.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Length: TBD
Shifts: 8-hour shifts for a balanced work-life schedule
Pay Rate: Earn up to $41 per hour for all taxable hours
Travel Pay Options:
- TRAVEL - $30/HR
- TRAVEL NO HOUSING/SPLIT PAY - $20/hr (taxable) $960(tax-free) $1560/40hours (20/24-44)
Qualifications:
- Active RN License in the state of Pennsylvania (required).
- Previous MDS experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of RAI guidelines PDPM and CMS regulations.
- Familiarity with MDS software systems (e.g. PointClickCare MatrixCare etc.).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT) from AANAC is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill injured or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- RN PA In good standing
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- IV Certification
- Current - BLS/CPR
- Skills checklist
- Copy or drivers license and SS card
- Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
