Job Description

Now Hiring RNs

Star Nursing is actively seeking dedicated RNs for exciting opportunities. If you are looking for a flexible schedule competitive pay and a supportive team we want to hear from you.

Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Length: TBD
Shifts: 8-hour shifts for a balanced work-life schedule
Pay Rate: Earn up to $41 per hour for all taxable hours

Travel Pay Options:

  • TRAVEL - $30/HR
  • TRAVEL NO HOUSING/SPLIT PAY - $20/hr (taxable) $960(tax-free) $1560/40hours (20/24-44)



Qualifications:

  • Active RN License in the state of Pennsylvania (required).
  • Previous MDS experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of RAI guidelines PDPM and CMS regulations.
  • Familiarity with MDS software systems (e.g. PointClickCare MatrixCare etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT) from AANAC is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill injured or disabled patients
  • Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
  • RN PA In good standing
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • IV Certification
  • Current - BLS/CPR
  • Skills checklist
  • Copy or drivers license and SS card
  • Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
