Job Description
LIGENTEC is a fast-growing European company with headquarter in Lausanne Switzerland. Since 2021 we expanded our manufacturing capabilities by creating LIGENTEC France in the South of Paris. We specialize in the design & manufacturing of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) for customers in high-tech areas such as Quantum Technologies LiDAR Space Technologies and Biosensors.
LIGENTEC All-Nitride (AN) technology enables our customers to develop their products in the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

To support our continued growth we are looking for a:
Junior Test Engineer
Tasks
- Contribute to the improvement of automated wafer-level testing scripts and measurement workflows
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to testing and logistics
- Collaborate with the Process Integration team to align on test timelines and priorities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards for lot scheduling reporting and automation workflows
- Support daily testing and logistics operations:
- Execution of automated test campaigns using dedicated measurement setups
- Wafer packaging and preparation for shipment
- Visual inspection and documentation of wafers
- Work on both front-end and back-end components of internal dashboards (data acquisition processing and visualization)
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Engineering Physics Photonics Computer Science or a related technical field
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in an optical laboratory or test environment (internships included)
- Basic proficiency in Python; familiarity with Django Flask SQLAlchemy or is an advantage
- Interest or experience in data visualization and dashboard development
- Understanding of automated instrumentation and lab equipment is a plus
- Reliable detail-oriented and eager to learn
- Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Working proficiency in English (French is a plus)
- Prior experience in the semiconductor or photonics industry is an asset
