Job Description
- Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) Therapy Services
- Facility: UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital (52-bed inpatient acute rehab facility)
- Department/Cost Center: Therapy Services
- Shift: Days
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: None (no minimum hours or guarantees)
- Weekend Hours: Open (may be required)
- Call Requirements: None
- Number of Openings: 5
- Required Certification: California OT License
- Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in Acute Rehab or Acute Care
- Float Requirements: None
- Patient Population: Adults with conditions such as stroke brain injury neurological conditions trauma spinal cord injury amputation and orthopedic injury (TBI SCI Ortho Trauma)
- Patient Load: 4-5 patients per day; 6 hours of treatment time daily
- EHR System: Cerner
- Supervisor: Caroline Owen
- Work Environment: State-of-the-art patient-focused and specialized rehab hospital
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver intensive individualized rehabilitation services
- Maximize health function and quality of life for patients
- Provide ongoing specialized treatment throughout recovery
- Preferred Skills/Experience: Acute Rehab or Acute Care background
- First Day Instructions:
- Report at 8:00 AM
- No scrub color requirement
- Ask for Caroline Owen upon arrival

- Compliance: Standard credentialing and compliance procedures required
- Scheduling: Flexible; can be coordinated directly with the facility once credentialed
