Position: Custodial Worker Supervisor
Client: TN School Blind
Location: 115 Stewarts Ferry Pike Nashville Tennessee 37214
Duration:3 Months
Custodial Worker Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the custodial staff to ensure that all school district facilities are maintained in a clean safe and sanitary condition. This role involves supervising custodial personnel coordinating cleaning schedules and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Shift would be 7am 3:30pm M-F.

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of cleaning procedures sanitation standards and safety protocols applicable to school environments. Knowledge of building maintenance and repair practices. Familiarity with custodial equipment tools and cleaning chemicals. Understanding of district policies health and safety regulations and OSHA standards. Knowledge of inventory management and supply ordering. Awareness of emergency procedures and protocols related to school safety.
SKILLS: Strong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage custodial staff. Excellent organizational and planning skills to coordinate cleaning schedules and maintenance activities. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff students and district personnel. Ability to train and motivate staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Problem-solving skills to address maintenance issues and operational challenges. Ability to interpret and follow safety and cleaning procedures accurately.
ABILITY: Supervise train and evaluate custodial staff. Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Inspect school facilities to ensure cleanliness safety and proper maintenance. Operate and troubleshoot custodial equipment. Enforce safety policies and procedures. Adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
