Job Description
Role: Travel RN Infusion Therapy
Location: Glens Falls NY
Duration: 08 Weeks
Shift: 8 hour days
Schedule: 40 hours per week/5 days
Pay breakdown:
- Hourly rate - $65.00 $17.40 taxable $47.60 non-taxable
- OT rate - $75.00
- Weekly Gross - $2600.00 $696.00 taxable $1904.00 stipend
Job Summary:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion Therapy is responsible for providing specialized nursing care in the administration of intravenous (IV) therapies including but not limited to antibiotics hydration chemotherapy biologics and pain management. Working in outpatient clinics hospitals or home care settings the RN ensures safe accurate and compassionate delivery of infusion treatments according to physician orders and organizational protocols. The RN monitors patient responses manages infusion-related complications educates patients and caregivers on therapy protocols and maintains detailed documentation. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills IV insertion expertise and a commitment to high-quality patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- 2years Current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion
- Chemo Cert (ONS) and Oncology Certified RN (OCN) - REQUIRED
- Peripheral IV Insertion experience - Required
- Port/Fistula/Catheter experience Required
- IV Certification - Highly preferred
- EPIC Experience - Required
- Previous traveller preferred
- BSN preferred
- BLS & ACLS Required
- NY state license required
