Job Description
Role: RN-Operating Room
Location: Rochester NY 14626
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 10 hr Days
Schedule: 40 hrs per week/4 days
Pay breakdown:
Hourly rate - $64 $31 taxable $ 33 non-taxable
Weekly Gross - $ 2560.00 $1240.00 taxable $ 1320.00 stipend
Job Summary:
- The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) provides perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Responsibilities include preparing the operating room assisting the surgical team during procedures monitoring patient status and ensuring a sterile environment.
- The OR RN coordinates with surgeons anaesthesiologists and surgical techs to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. Strong critical thinking attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential in this fast-paced setting.
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of operating room experience required.
- Specialty Experience: Proven experience in the following surgical service lines is essential: Orthopaedic Thoracic Vascular Neurosurgery and Robotic-assisted procedures.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
