Job Description
- Design and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the curriculum standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
- Encourage interest in mathematics through innovative projects and activities.
- Support students preparation for standardized tests and assessments.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects.
- Incorporate technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Attend faculty meetings professional development workshops and training sessions.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching methods based on the varying learning styles of students.
- Monitor and track students performance and attendance.
- Guide and mentor students on mathematical competitions and clubs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational technology and trends in mathematics education.
- Bachelor s degree in Mathematics or Education with a specialization in Mathematics.
- Teaching certification for the respective grade level.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a relevant educational setting.
- Strong understanding of middle school mathematics curriculum and pedagogy.
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
- Experience with differentiated instruction strategies.
- Knowledge of assessing and interpreting student data to inform instruction.
- Passion for mathematics education and a dedication to student achievement.
