Description

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Under the supervision and reporting to the Plant Manager the Project Coordinator Mfg. and Service performs a variety of duties supporting the plant manager and service department.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Plan schedule and manage service projects ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients during active service projects.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet changing conditions or client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project activities including work orders budgets and client communications.
  • Track and report project performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and maintain accurate records including project documentation service orders invoices and client files.
  • Collaborate with office staff to coordinate scheduling dispatch procurement and logistics.
  • Answer telephone calls routing callers to the appropriate individual or providing information or taking messages.
  • Assist in travel arrangements for service technicians and maintain travel related records.
  • Track and maintain due dates for all upcoming projects deliveries and service calls.
  • Maintain record keeping for all shipments.
  • Manage and track shipments of large tanks and pump stations.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.


Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. An ideal candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Requires education generally equivalent to 3-5 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.


LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers employees project engineers and customers relating to service matters.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic calculation relating to administrative duties.


REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of information furnished in written and oral form.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Requires the ability to operate a variety of office equipment such as a personal computer calculator telephone facsimile machine and photocopier.
