Intertek a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of ATIC (Assurance Testing Inspection and Certification) Services to many of the worlds leading brands and companies is actively seeking aSales RepresentativeinColumbus OH to join our Electrical Sales team.
Interteks Electrical business lineappliesproduct testing expertisequickly and efficiently to help clientsmeet safety performance environmental and quality requirements for every market they wish to enter. OurElectrical team provides assurance testing inspection and certification for a variety of electric products including appliances consumer electronics lighting medical devices information communications technology HVACR industrial and energy transmission and distribution.

What are we looking for
The Sales Representativeposition is responsible for direct sales activity within an assigned territoryidentifying and developing new accounts leveraging Interteks Assurance Testing Inspection and Certification (ATIC) solutions. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
Salary & Benefits Information
When working with Intertek our Sales Representativesare offered a base salary plus monthly incentiveeligibility based on sales goals. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set experience qualifications and other job-related reasons.

What youll do:
- Sell Interteks services within assigned vertical account and territory through effective client research prospecting and networking.
- Meet with current and prospective customers via client presentations and participation at trade shows.
- Meet order and revenue quotas on a monthly basis.
- Write and follow up on proposals specify appropriate standards and pricing; Follow through on sales transactions to ensure a superior customer experience for every project.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Meet all activity targets and log activity in to iConnect as required.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required.
- Perform other duties as required.

What it takes to be successful in this role:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- 1 years successful direct sales experience.
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Exceptional ability to communicate and interact effectively in written verbal written and presentation formats.
- Excellent organizational prioritization and time management skills.
- Must be energized and self-motivated and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Valid drivers license and reliable driving record.
- Physical dexterity/mobility to travel via car airplane and to perform all clerical functions inherent to the position.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Business to business sales experience.
- Experience with CRM tools (MS Dynamics / Sales Force / other).
