- Plan organize and provide ongoing medication management and therapy for new and existing patients.
- Assures that appropriate protocols for continuous improvement are established in mental health and addiction services and monitors ongoing compliance with quality assurance standards for mental health and substance use for both inpatient and outpatient care
- Renewing and refilling medication to the best of their ability to avoid lapses in treatment.
- Educate the patient in understanding the disease process with guidance regarding preventative practices necessary to manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Work closely and maintain transparent communication with the treatment center their clinical team and the PNS team.
- Must hold a current and valid license to practice in the State of California and hold an NPI.
- Must have full prescription authority and maintain current D.E.A. licensure.
- Willing to complete training to be in compliance with prescribing regulations.
- Experience in detox residential and PHIOP level of care.
- Prior experience in addiction medicine required; familiarity with detox protocols and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferred
- Prefer but not required at least two (2) years experience in a Behavioral Health and/or Chemical Dependency setting or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Current BLS and ALC certification.
- Current Mantoux skin test within less than 1 year.
- COVID-19 attestation or proof of complete vaccination.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of clients staff and community members.

Our Psychiatry practice was founded on the principles of treating patients with care compassion and understanding.
