West Virginia University Health System (SMG) seeks a Pulmonologist to serve in an outreach role with WVU Medicine hospitals and partner facilities. The successful candidate will be expected to practice at several southern West Virginia clinic locations: Thomas Memorial Hospital (South Charleston WV) Jackson General Hospital (Ripley WV) Roane General Hospital (Spencer WV) and Boone Memorial Hospital (Madison WV).
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidates must have completed a Pulmonology residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Pulmonology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Location: West Virginias capital city is perfectly positioned at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk Rivers. Three major interstates converge making it a highly accessible destination for visitors looking for an affordable getaway. Charleston boasts the history you would expect of a capital city but a growing arts scene and its riverside position makes it a hub for recreation and culture too.
