Pivot Bios Head of Digital owns the overall design and execution of the companys digital strategy. This includes oversight and direction for software engineering data engineering data science and product owner teams as well as supporting software platforms. In the Head of Digital role this individual will formalize Pivot Bios digital agronomy capability to unite product and commercial teams by using common tools and sharing cross-functional data. A critical aspect of the role is shaping the companys platform strategy to enhance its ability to leverage data to support customer needs and experience. The Head of Digital works closely with product owners to shape the strategic plan for agronomy systems drafting the roadmap to deliver new products product releases and specific features that support Pivots ability to serve its customers from product concept through commercial scale. In addition the Head of Digital will guide workflows across data science and software engineering roles to ensure resources are aligned to value delivering projects on time with visibility and clear communication across the organization. The Head of Digital leverages Agile methodologies to manage teams and software needs and installs best practices in teams. They are a leader coaching and mentoring teams in the organization to further develop talent and build career paths within the company. The role will report into the Chief Growth Officer to create a strong tie between broader company strategy and digital systems interfacing closely with the Product and Commercial leaders and teams in a dotted line relationship. The Head of Digital is a proactive problem solver adept and process and resource management who is excited to drive new value from digital for the company. Strong candidates have a deep understanding of digital systems and teams strong technical capabilities and a strategic mindset.
