Job Description

Online Sales Consultant

Job Overview

As an Online Sales Specialist you are the first point of contact for prospective homebuyers. Youll manage all incoming leads from initial inquiry based on their needs ensuring timely informative and professional communication across phone email and digital platforms. This role is vital to driving sales performance building relationships with buyers and ensuring every lead is handled with care and consistency.




Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to online and phone inquiries from potential homebuyers via CRM email text and phone calls
  • Qualify prospects through a set of standardized questions to determine needs and buying timeframe
  • Build strong relationships with prospects providing accurate timely information about available homes communities and the Red Cedar homebuilding process.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up communication using CRM tools and lead nurturing workflows to move prospects through the pipeline.
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date records in Salesforce (or CRM of record) ensuring accuracy in lead status source attribution and next steps.
  • Meet or exceed KPIs such as lead response time appointment scheduling conversion to contract and engagement rates.
  • Respond promptly to online and phone inquiries from potential homebuyers via CRM email text and phone calls
  • Educate prospects about available homes floorplans pricing community features and the homebuying process
  • Set and confirm appointments with sales agents following up to ensure showings/ meetings occur
  • Partner closely with the sales marketing and leadership teams to optimize lead conversion and campaign effectiveness
  • Stay up to date on available communities and homes
  • Participate in sales meetings and provide input on market trends and lead quality
  • Maintain high responsiveness including some evenings and weekends
  • Other duties as assigned.



Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience in new home sales inside sales real estate or customer service preferred
  • Real estate license is a plus but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with digital communication tools (CRM texting platforms live chat email)
  • Highly organized self-motivated and goal-driven with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously
  • Persistent with a sales driven mindset while providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Strong attention to details and ability to identify and improve inefficiencies
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Cooperative and respectful of team members. Team player mentality
  • Ethical and honest
  • Reliable and punctual attendance



Schedule:

  • Sunday-Thursday standard daytime hours; 10:00 am 7:00 pm



Job Type:

  • Full-time position averaging 40 hours per week



Compensation:

  • $50000 base salary annually
  • High bonus potential
    • Monthly bonus for each kept appointment

      • Higher bonus payouts for appointments that result in a home under contract
    • Annual bonus potential based off KPIs and overall company performance

  • 401k with a Safe Harbor match formula of 100% of employee contributions up to 3% of their compensation then 50% matching contribution of the next 2% of employees compensation

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

  • Charlotte NC: Ability to reliably commute or willingness to relocate before starting work (required).



Work Location:

  • Mostly Remote with some requirement for office meetings and occasional on-site presence. Office meeting location 1710 Camden Rd. Charlotte NC 28203

Work Environment:

  • Home Office-based environment with a business casual dress code. Standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers and filing cabinets are used in this role.
