Jefferson Healthcare () is currently hiring a Workforce Development Summer Intern. This is a paid intern position that requires a minimum of 180 hours. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a healthcare setting develop professional skills and learn about the often unseen aspects of hospital management.
This is a temporary non-exempt position and will remain open until June 23 2025.
The compensation for this internship is $20.98/Hour. This compensation includes a 15% increase of base wages in lieu of benefits.
In this role you will:
- Assist with management and updates to the departments SharePoint site ensuring current and accurate content
- Support the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading course materials tracking attendance and helping with system organization.
- Take meeting minutes and notes during education planning sessions and team meetings.
- Perform scanning filing and electronic organization of training documents certifications and records.
- Help prepare orientation materials and packets for new hires or trainees.
- Provide general administrative support to the Workforce Development and Clinical Education team as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 Years Old
- High School diploma required
- Current Enrollment in or a recent graduate of a healthcare business or related college program
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook SharePoint etc.)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
