Clinical Nursing Director - Labor & Delivery Unit
Join our award-winning healthcare facility as a Clinical Nursing Director overseeing our Labor & Delivery Unit. Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and accountability
- Drive implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
- Oversee operational efficiency including staffing budgeting and resource allocation
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve patient experience and clinical outcomes
- Manage interdepartmental collaboration and communication
- Direct patient flow optimization and care coordination
- Establish and monitor clinical performance metrics
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and best practice implementation
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license
- Bachelors degree required (BSN preferred)
- Masters degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare leadership experience
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- NRP FHM and RNC-OB certifications preferred
- Proven track record in clinical operations management
- Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
