Job Summary
The Marketing Intern will assist our DEUTZ Marketing Department by applying acquired knowledge from advanced Marketing college courses. The Marketing Intern will also apply best practices and strategies while being responsible for providing deliverables compliant with our corporate branding guidelines and essential for helping to advance sales. This position will liaise with the Marketing Director Marketing Project Manager Chief Sales Officer DEUTZ Power Center personnel and other departments. Additionally this role will assist in organizing trade shows and other significant events. This internship is intended to provide functional experience to someone that will utilize it as part of a progression toward their intended career path. Time spent by the marketing intern isnt to exceed thirty hours per week or last for longer than six months.

Currently pursuing a degree related to graphic design or marketing

Basic knowledge of marketing best practices

Strong graphic design experience

High competency level in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign

Competent with Microsoft Office especially Outlook Word and Excel

Strong customer-focused work ethic
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Read analyze and interpret business professional technical or governmental documents. Write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers customers and the public.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:
Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
