Responsibilities
The bariatric coach serves as a patient liaison to help bariatric patients and family members navigate the complex healthcare system.
Collaborate with providers to develop and implement standards of care for select patient populations.
Oversees patient care delivery to maximize patient family physician satisfaction. Acts as advocate for patients and family members by assessing securing and coordinating appropriate bariatric services.
Evaluates patient care according to pre-established patient care standards.
Obtain insurance verification and precertification for initial and revisional bariatric procedures.
Qualifications
Associate Of Nursing
RN License (NE)
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
Prefer Bachelor Of Science degree in Nursing or will obtain within 2 years.
Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN) - within 24 months
