Collins Aerospace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Integration Engineer to work on an Integration & Test team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving and creating software integration and test utilities and processes. The ideal candidate is a well-disciplined individual with a proven applicable technical background who is able to thrive in a dynamic agile environment and is able to work well in a team setting.
What You Will Do
- Integrate and test multiple software subsystems and external systems identifying issues related to data exchanges usability functionality safety and/or vulnerabilities
- Develop new automated tests and test utilities and update code to remain compliant with updated subsystems and external systems
- Utilize container technologies to configure deploy software to various lab and customer site environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and implement new software
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software development and test processes
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software testing
Qualifications You Must Have
- Experience designing implementing and/or supporting cloud native container orchestration platforms and technologies (e.g. Kubernetes Istio HELM Podman Docker)
- Experience with Python testing frameworks like Pytest Linux shell scripting and basic CLI tools such as grep awk sed ssh & scp developing automation pipelines using tools such as Gitlab and Artifactory and creating test threads cases and steps for SWIT and/or SIT.
- Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Active and transferableTS/SCIU.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

- Experience with modeling tools like Cameo
- Experience with Nifi
- Experience Kafka and REST APIs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

The salary range for this role is 90000 USD - 182000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
