Location: San Jose CA (Local candidates only)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Engineer to join our clients team (End Client: Deloitte/Adobe) in San Jose CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building integrations and web services experience with client-side/server-side technologies and a strong focus on quality and security. This is a W2 only position with an initial duration of 6 months and potential for extension.
Position: Contract (6 Months Extendable)
Type: W2 only
Rate: $70/hr (Negotiable)
Responsibilities:
-
Build web services and integrations using Snaplogic Splunk JSON HTML and RESTful design
-
Develop critical business solutions with client-side/server-side technologies
-
Contribute to Agile Scrum team deliverables
-
Integrate open-source packages and write unit test code
-
Participate in design code and test reviews
-
Deploy services and validate integration
-
Work closely with security engineering and product management teams
-
Investigate and resolve partner-filed bug reports
-
Provide clear communication to management regarding features risks and progress
-
Author design documents and time estimates for features
Required Qualifications:
-
7 years in software development or IT
-
Strong Java programming and web development skills (HTML CSS JavaScript XML AngularJS)
-
Experience with REST APIs Snaplogic and systems integration
-
Proven focus on code quality including unit/integration tests and coverage
-
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
-
Familiar with DevOps culture CI/CD systems (Jenkins Maven ANT) and GitHub
-
Strong understanding of infrastructure application security and RDMBS
-
Experience with Agile methodology and tools (JIRA or equivalent)
-
Strong communication skills and ability to write clear technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
-
2 years of Agile methodology experience
-
2 years of using story/sprint tracking tools like JIRA
-
1 year experience with marketing automation or lead generation tools
Additional Information:

Must be a local candidate to San Jose CA

Hybrid work model may apply depending on project needs
Candidate Details:
