Title: Senior Project ManagerLocation: Phoenix AZ / Hybrid (primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings required)
This primarily remote role requires a Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience managing complex technology initiatives including large enterprise software implementations. The ideal candidate is a certified Scrum Master who brings deep expertise in Agile/Scrum experience with tools like Azure DevOps or Jira and a strong record of leading teams and structuring work to deliver results. Candidates should have a background in ERP and CRM systems and be skilled in managing vendor relationships coordinating technical teams and integrating compliance requirements into project execution.
Your role:
- Lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex enterprise software projects on time within scope and budget
- Guide and support a team of project managers on workstreams such as data conversion system integration infrastructure and legacy system retirement
- Oversee Agile ceremonies and coach teams on Agile best practices to improve team maturity and delivery
- Track epics user stories bugs and releases using Azure DevOps Jira or similar tools
- Coordinate with engineering operations and security teams to align on system integrations and compliance
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure contract terms and performance expectations are met
- Map and manage technical dependencies related to cloud services security and infrastructure
- Create and maintain project documents including charters schedules RACI charts and lessons-learned reviews
- Ensure that risk management security practices and policy requirements are factored into every stage of project delivery
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to support change management and adoption of new technology
What youve got:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of project management experience with 3 years using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Scrum Master certification (CSM PSM or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience managing major enterprise software deployments particularly with ERP and CRM systems
- Skilled in building and organizing teams to deliver complex technical work
- Proficient with Azure DevOps Jira or other project management tools
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with external vendors and aligning deliverables with SLAs
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST and FedRAMP
- PMP or SAFe certification preferred
- Experience in public sector or other regulated environments preferred
