Job Description

EMPLOYER: FTI LLC

JOB TITLE: Managing Director

LOCATION: Bowie MD. Requires up to 80% travel to client sites and FTI offices (international and domestic). Up to 100% regular telework permitted.

DUTIES: Analyze econometric data market indices and industry benchmarks to identify market trends and attractive market opportunities with high return on investment (ROI) for our clients. Benchmark clients financial and operational metrics vs competition to determine fiscal health of companies. Review sales and marketing metrics and targets to measure productivity or quota attainment or to identify areas for improvement. Assess pricing and volume structures to estimate growth and margin sustainability. Lead salesforce effectiveness transformations and develop go-to market plans for specific customer segments. Apply sales and marketing manufacturing supply chain and procurement expertise with regards to transformational projects including merger integration engagements. Apply Six Sigma Lean and similar methods to provide operational recommendations and detailed implementation plans. Lead client teams e.g. functional work streams in developing operational plans and identifying synergies during merger / transition planning. Maintain detailed working paper records reflecting assumptions methodologies and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks. Work to ensure a quality product as well as delivery of all work within established timeframes. Prepare draft written analyses and other reports for third parties as necessary on the project scope findings and/or results of activities. Prepare PowerPoint presentations and quantitative exhibits for third parties as necessary on the project scope findings and/or results of activities. Research and organize information to facilitate effective data access and analysis. Maintain professional image within the company and project same to those outside the company. Responsible for day-to-day activities of project including interaction with other team members professionals from other firms involved in the engagement and client personnel. Review manufacturing supply chain and procurement processes and costs (e.g. make vs buy analysis spend analysis strategic sourcing operational due diligence). Apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to provide operational recommendations and detailed implementation plans to enhance efficiency effectiveness or sustainability of operations. Evaluate financial reports (e.g. profit & loss statements cash flow models) or investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures operating systems budgets to grow revenue and/or margin sustainably. Conduct commercial and operational due diligence to advise clients on the potential benefits costs risks and value drivers of a transaction. Build financial models with sensitivity analyses to identify synergies during merger / transition planning e.g. Manufacturing and Distribution Synergy evaluation Sourcing synergies. Lead project teams e.g. functional work streams in design analysis structure and execution of operational plans. May include supervision of client personnel. Develop robust tracking and reports for key performance indicators (KPI); set up governance to monitor performance outcomes of transformation initiatives. Execute complex transformational projects including merger integration engagements e.g.:

Pre-completion planning developing high level plans for the first 100 days by work stream setting up a program governance and developing Day 1 plans to take control.

First 100 days and long-term implementation fully mobilized integration team with a prioritized set of opportunities and realization of quick wins.

Second wave integration a refocused re-energized integration process to capture the originally envisaged benefits of the deal.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or another quantitative field and 9 years of experience in any job title in corporate finance supply chain and manufacturing OR Masters degree in Business Administration Engineering or other quantitative field and 6 years of experience in any job title in corporate finance supply chain and manufacturing. Must have 6 years of prior experience in the following:

Experience in advanced analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx Tableau PowerBI) and Six Sigma Proficiency with PC environment and related software including Microsoft Office applications (e.g. PowerPoint Excel).

Experience with financial modeling and evaluating financial reports (i.e. profit & loss statements cash flow models) to make recommendations for changes to procedures operating systems budgets to grow revenue and/or margin.

Experience conducting commercial diligence to analyze sales & marketing effectiveness LTV/CAC and pricing variances by customer segments to identify revenue uplift opportunities.

Experience preparing and delivering presentations and quantitative reports summarizing project scope findings recommendations to the Board of Directors C-level executives.

Experience with project management leading project teams e.g. functional work streams in design analysis structure and execution of operational plans to drive measurable improvements in EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest Taxes Depreciation and Amortization) profitability.

Must have 3 years of prior experience in procurement and sourcing such as spend analysis make vs buy analyses strategic sourcing outsourcing supplier management negotiations etc.

Salary: $430000-$618000
