Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III (Contract)
Location: Tacoma WA
Hourly Rate: $30.00- $40.00
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of hospital biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Tacoma area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of hospital biomedical equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company policies
- Provide training and support to healthcare staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to different locations
- Must pass background and drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
