Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to join our team. Under direct or general supervision the Unified Communications Engineers role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice video and wireless telecom services. In addition the Unified Communications Engineer will participate with the installation monitoring maintenance support and optimization of all Telecom hardware software and communication links. This position will also analyze and resolve Telecom hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

Schedule: Full time 40 hrs/wk Monday-Friday
Location: Hybrid at St. Vincents Hospital

Education
- Associates degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of experience in information technology may be accepted in lieu of an Associates degree.
Experience
- 1 year experience configuring and supporting Cisco Unified Communications or Avaya Infrastructure is preferred.
- 1 year experience troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose issues in large-scale voice implementations is preferred.
- 1 year of experience with Telecom or Network systems protocols and standards such as Ethernet LAN (Local Area Network) WAN (Wide Area Network) SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) H.323 G.711 and T.38 is preferred.

Pay Range:
$29.55 - $44.32
A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.
