Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an outstanding Manager for Site Services Kit Production. This opportunity allows you to lead all aspects of our internal kitting facility ensuring flawless operation and maintaining the highest standards of support and reliability. Responsibilities:

  • Manage Kit Production and affiliated staff supporting kit production activities including assembling packing and performing quality control checks.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Kitting Operations and Senior Management and ensure high-level support to external kit vendors and internal departments.
  • Identify efficiencies in the kit production process and supervise workload and key performance indicators to strictly identify and address inefficiencies.
  • Supervise and report on kit vendor performance coordinate with Materials Management and resolve Kit Vendor Quality Events ensuring strict adherence to guidelines and order accuracy.
  • Occasionally assist with crafting back orders modifying orders and managing ship-by dates.
  • Provide system and courier system trainings serve as a subject matter expert in department software and data flow for order fulfillment and kit production and participate in daily operations resolve complaints/issues and provide training for new personnel or processes.
  • Attend weekly operational meetings attend study protocol meetings educate staff on critical issues and attend events as part of the GSS Leadership team including meetings trainings audits and vendor visits.
  • Coordinate the internal kitting facility to guarantee efficient and effective operations.
  • Build work schedules and holiday planning for teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven leadership skills with solid management and business insight.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Effective negotiation problem resolution and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and accurate data entry skills.
  • Confidentiality in handling client protocols and study data.
  • Fiscal understanding of business needs and strategic decision-making abilities.
  • Expert knowledge of site services and investigational products.
