Job Description
The job profile for this position isSoftware Engineering Senior Advisorwhich is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role withCigna-Evernorth Services Inc.
Responsibilities-
Build components of software platforms and collaborate with Application Development teams regarding design patterns best practices approved technologies tools and solutions.
Build technology platforms that are modern scalable and highly available.
Design application components to fit within the solution architecture.
Plan drive and deliver innovative reusable software solutions.
The role requires extensive hands-on development in Claims application and have business knowledge with end to end claim processing including adjudication and pricing.
The role also requires to build re-usable work flows using PEGA that can be leverage for multiple areas.
Should have the knowledge on implementing PEGA apps into cloud infrastructure. Work with vendor products and build integration design with claim application. Hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications-
Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in information technology computers or engineering plus five years of experience in software development/engineering or a masters or foreign equivalent degree in information technology computers or engineering plus three years of experience in software development/engineering. Must have experience with: Pega PRPC; Java COBOL; AWS HTML XML CSS EDI JSON; MySQL AWS Aurora Postgres Oracle DB2 IMS; Apache TOMCAT AWS Server and Serverless; Windows Linux and Mainframe Z/OS; Splunk Dynatrace Eclipse Jira Rally CA Agile Central and Service NOW; IBM Mainframes; JCL CICS SQL MS SQL Server; Agile and Waterfall; Use Cases and Data Flow Diagrams; Crystal Reports; MS Excel Visio Endevor Trizetto Facets Sybase ClaimCheck and ClaimsXten.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
