Clinical Nursing Manager - Womens Health and Labor & Delivery

Position Overview
As the L&D Clinical Nursing Manager you will orchestrate daily operations ensure clinical excellence and foster a culture of patient-centered care while driving quality improvements and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of nursing professionals in Labor & Delivery
- Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based practice implementation
- Optimize patient flow and resource utilization across the unit
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards are met
- Champion patient experience initiatives and maintain high satisfaction scores
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Implement staff development and competency programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state eligibility
- 3-5 years clinical experience in Labor & Delivery
- 2 years leadership experience in acute care setting
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- NRP and FHM certifications preferred
- RNC-OB certification (or obtained within 6 months)
