Position Summary: At Life Link III our Communications Center Specialists are the vital link that keeps our lifesaving operations running smoothly. With a focus on customer service safety and excellence youll play an essential role in ensuring every air medical transport is coordinated with precision care and safety.
This position is scheduled for nights (6pm-6am). All positions are 12-hour shifts. As a Communications Center Specialist youll: - Serve as the front line for all incoming calls radio transmissions and digital notifications
- Operate in a fast-paced environment to coordinate patient transport requests
- Collaborate with our pilots medical teams aircraft mechanics and administration to ensure safe and effective transport operations
- Be a critical contributor to Life Link IIIs mission of providing safe timely and professional air medical transport.

- Activates all Life Link III aircrafts
- Maintains communication and tracking of Life Link III aircrafts
- Maintains communication with requesting facilities and agencies
- Coordinates pre-planned medical transport requests
- Maintains accurate electronic records of aircraft maintenance and flight personnel
- Participates in committees public relations functions and educational opportunities
- Monitors multiple sources to ensure transport crew and patient safety
- Maintains a positive working relationship with internal and external customers through the entirety of the patient transport process
- Maintains a high standard of performance with unwavering commitment to quality and operational practices
- Prioritizes the well-being of patients and customers by ensuring process efficiency organizational effectiveness and personal accountability
What We Are Looking For: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Computer literate with the ability to learn and adapt to new software programs
- Ability to type 35 words per minute
- General geographic knowledge and map reading skills
Preferred Experience: - EMS air medical communication and/or 911 communication center experience
- 2 years of experience in a health care environment
- Knowledge of aviation and medical terminology
- Licensure: EMT EMD POST certification or equivalent education or experience
- Two-year degree in related field

- Nights and weekend shift differentials of $1.25 - $1.50
