ThePapahana Wailau Ola pathway is a fully online transfer student support program at the University of Hawaii - West Oahu. This program is unique as it embraces olelo nohona and ike Hawaii to foster a holistic approach in providing student services grounded in Native Hawaiian values and principles. Papahana Wailau Ola is committed to building upon cohort students understanding and connection to Hawaiian culture through culturally relevant workshops and enrichment opportunities. Program students will have access to mentoring tutoring and academic support services solely online in addition to their fully online distance education academic degree program.
Papahana Wailau Ola would like to offer courses that meet degree and/or graduation requirements in addition to program services during the summer. The summer programming is meant to support students smooth transition into the university and better prepare them for their first semester this coming fall. Those applying to this position will be teaching an assigned course under the Humanities division while also working with the Wailau Ola program advisor to ensure student success.
Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year 2025-2026 $1911 per credit hour commensurate with education and experience.
