Lead all aspects of primary and secondary packaging for clinical products with hands-on coaching and mentoring.
Coordinate 20-25 employees working on multiple production lines in a clinical pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging environment.
Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
Lead: Coach and mentor employees act professionally and possess strong interpersonal listening and communication skills.
Be the go-to expert for each process within your area. Communicate confidently with all collaborators.
Drive: Innovate and proactively identify problems/improvement opportunities. Implement solutions to solve problems and eliminate reoccurrences.
Lead: Measure team individual and process performance. Set goals and hold team individuals and self-accountable.
Develop: Champion employees education and personal development. Provide growth opportunities and motivate the workforce.
Conduct activities safely and efficiently adhering to company vision and principles.
How will you get here
Bachelors degree in business Management Engineering or a scientific field from an accredited college or university.
Applicants with 6 years of relevant experience including 3 years in pharmaceutical packaging may be preferred.
Strong leadership and role model capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Good judgment and decision-making skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Experience in all aspects of the packaging process.
Implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
3 years of supervisory experience desired.
Clinical or pharmaceutical packaging experience preferred.
Experience leading teams of more than 10 employees.
Preferred certifications: Lean or Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) Project Management (PMP).
Ability to stand walk lift 50 pounds bend squat reach and perform repetitive actions.
Vision requirements include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Must meet applicable visual acuity/color blindness standards for inspection of pharmaceutical products in a cGMP environment.
