Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery Unit

Position Overview
As the L&D Unit Manager you will oversee daily operations ensure clinical excellence and drive quality patient outcomes while fostering a culture of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals in delivering exceptional patient-centered care
- Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices
- Manage unit operations including staffing scheduling and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
- Optimize patient flow and throughput processes
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
- Monitor and improve quality metrics and patient satisfaction scores
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the patient experience
- Maintain equipment and supply management protocols
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters (MSN) preferred
- Current RN license in state of practice or compact license
- 3-5 years clinical experience in Labor & Delivery or Maternal Care
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in L&D setting
- Specialty certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
