Johnson Controls Inc. seeks Lead Systems Specialist 2 at its facility located at 915 Valley St. Colorado Springs Colorado 80915.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under general direction acts as the on-site project leader to plan execute and complete control systems projects with assigned customers. Performs or delegates tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including hardware design system programming installation coordination system and network commissioning and project closeout. Also responsible for the overall financial engineering results of assigned projects including costs project billings and collections. Maintains an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results. Actively pursues selling change orders. Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project. Ensures proper execution of warranty. Provides work direction to subcontractors electrical installers technicians designers and administration as necessary. Ensures work performed is in compliance with state local and federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest ethics. Adheres and ensures staff and subcontractors adhere to safety. No Telecommuting Allowed.
REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related field plus two (2) years of experience as an Electrical Designer Electrical Tester or related occupation in the HVAC industry. Additionally the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Utilizing HVAC equipment and applications including Air handling units heating and cooling plants terminal units unitary equipment and heat exchangers; (2) Utilizing control methodology of HVAC equipment such as differential pressure control staging of pumps or other equipment in response to changes in demand/load; (3) Troubleshooting installed sensor arrays and controller wiring to resolve issues and/or analyze control sequences to determine modifications; (4) Reading design sequences of operation and translating to working programs for controllers and identifying potential issues with the design and proposing functional solutions; (5) Design of low voltage power distribution; (6) Communication protocols and methods of translation to convert protocols to achieve integrations to systems such as Identifying ModBus registers; and (7) Translating construction schedule to a revenue plan for financial forecasting and estimate project changes.

RATE OF PAY: $111987.00 -$ 111987.00 per year
