Job Description
JOB FUNCTIONS
Hybrid
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work in a fast-paced collaborative environment with a considerable workload and critical deadlines
Develop engaging persuasive copy for various projects ranging from store signs and print mailers to website pages and product descriptions
Collaborate with graphic designers and cross-functional partners to translate briefs and company priorities into customer-facing stories
Manage multiple projects simultaneously including concepting writing proofreading and providing edits
Conduct research and gather information needed to complete assigned projects (pricing event information product specifications etc.)
Ensure 100% accuracy on all content including pricing product/event information headlines grammar spelling and punctuation
Continuously evolve the copy through the lifecycle of the project based on strategy changes and feedback
Participate in reviews presentations and other project-related meetings
Required for All Jobs
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree
Communications Journalism English or related field
Required
WORK EXPERIENCE
3-5 years related experience or training
Required
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong writing skills that include tone structure grammar spelling and factual accuracy
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to think big picture
Ability to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects
Familiarity with content management systems
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Understanding of retail climate terminology and SEO
Working knowledge of InDesign is a plus
