Job Purpose
Health Unit Coordinators work to provide compassionate and competent care so that we have the opportunity to feel the joy of impacting the lives of our patients their families and our co-workers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duty

Manage phones call lights parent meals patient schedules keep information at nurses station up to date coordinates/send out communication throughout unit submitting tickets coordinate bathing schedules facilitate moves throughout hospital including room setup at admission and discharge.

Assist with patient activity at nurses station

Contribute to maintain a tidy work environment; cleans nurses station and work space maintains stock of supplies and forms

Assist with direct patient care as needed

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High School Graduate or GED. Ability to speak understand read and write English required
Experience:
1 year secretarial/office experience preferred. Computer skill proficiency.
License/Certification/Credential:

Bethany Childrens Health Center (formerly The Childrens Center Rehabilitation Hospital) located in Bethany Oklahoma is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA) a safety sensitive position is defined as any job that includes tasks or duties that the employer believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others.
