Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in healthcare finance to support strategic and operational decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with cost accounting proforma development and data analysis using SQL Excel and Tableau.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial and operational data to support executive decision-making
Develop cost models financial proformas and strategic recommendations
Identify cost control and efficiency opportunities across departments
Prepare and validate financial reports to ensure data integrity
Collaborate with stakeholders on system-wide financial initiatives
Support implementation of financial systems and reporting tools
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or Healthcare Administration
OR
10 years of relevant healthcare finance experience in lieu of degree
5 years of healthcare financial analysis experience
Proficient in SQL Excel (including advanced functions) and Microsoft Access
Demonstrated experience with hospital financial and clinical data
Strong background in cost accounting and proforma analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
Experience with healthcare reimbursement and contract management systems
Advanced skills in Tableau and dashboard development
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Hybrid schedule with occasional on-site meetings (local candidates preferred)
Additional Information:
This is a salaried role offering 80 hours per pay period with no weekend or on-call requirements.
