Testing Program Engineer

Job Description:

Overall Purpose: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Testing Program Engineer to join AT&Ts Connected Solutions team. We bring connectivity to cars we deliver visibility to fleet management and create solutions to support millions of connected IoT devices world-wide.

The Testing Program Engineer is responsible for planning executing and delivering testing initiatives on time and within scope while ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and software testing with excellent communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA leadership program management and cross-functional coordination.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operational Planning and Execution:
  • Coordinate with project managers QA leads development teams and business stakeholders to ensure testing alignment with program objectives
  • Manage program-level risks dependencies and resource planning for testing activities
  • Track and report on testing progress quality metrics and program health to senior leadership.
• Testing Methods and Procedures:
  • Create refine and oversee front-door tools and processes
  • Using best-practices implement and manage defect management tools reporting and traceability
  • Evolve Solution Assurance lifecycle practices with related documentation communication and training
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Track and report on testing progress quality metrics and program health to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes tools and team capabilities.
  • Facilitate synchronization meetings such as Scrum of Scrums and ART Sync.
• Skills and Qualifications:
  • Superlative communication skills with experience in relevant Microsoft applications (Visio Excel PPT SharePoint). Power BI and Tableau experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as ADO JIRA TestRail Postman Selenium or similar.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of experience in software testing and/or QA.
• 3 years of experience in project management preferably in a QA or testing environment.
