Job Description:
The Senior Data Quality Executive is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and detail of Cisions global media database through productive research. Primarily focused on the US market but with a need to assist globally when required this role is for an experienced researcher who understands the US media landscape in detail.
The job requires staying abreast of media changes in the local environment while working autonomously on big projects to improve database quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Researches and verifies media data and updates the database accordingly with a particular emphasis on major US outlets and/or senior journalists.
Undertakes special clean-up projects focused on improving data quality.
Builds relationships with major US newsrooms to facilitate the above two goals.
Maintains a high level of awareness about media industry news in the US to ensure the database is kept up to date in a timely fashion.
Manages time efficiently to meet personal KPIs.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelors degrees in related areas or combination of related experience and education.
At least five years experience working in media research or the broader media/PR industry.
Previous media or PR industry experience.
Research experience.
Computer literate (MS office).
Competent phone manners are required.
Working knowledge of concepts practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations. Physical Requirements
