Job Description
Job Title:Order Picking and Packing
Pay Rate:$15/HR
Shift:6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Mandatory overtime may be required)
Job Type:Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary
Stand-By Personnel is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join a local clients Distribution Center team asPackers. In this role you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently packaging merchandise for shipment to retail locations while adhering to company quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pack merchandise into boxes or containers for shipping to retail locations
Verify item numbers quantities and packing labels to ensure accuracy
Inspect merchandise for damage or quality issues
Use RF scanners or other tracking systems as applicable
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Meet established productivity and accuracy benchmarks
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet department goals
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience:Minimum of 1 year required; 3 years preferred
Physical Ability:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently squat sit stand walk and reach
Fast-Paced Environment:Ability to thrive in a high-energy setting
Team Player:Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Basic PC Knowledge:Familiarity with basic computer operations
Versatility:Willingness to perform various warehouse tasks as assigned
Protocol Adherence:Follow all procedures best practices and report any unsafe or unprofessional behavior
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required
