Role Name: Bookkeeper
Schedule: Mon-Wed (start with part-time) transition to full-time soon anytime between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM 20 hours a week

Responsibilities:
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks using MYOB software
Complete bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly coded tracked and entered
Monitor and manage email inbox for basic customer inquiries including invoice and statement requests
Generate reports showing open invoices and items requiring follow-up
Collaborate with the business owners wife who has bookkeeping training but limited experience
Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian tax and GST requirements
Provide responsive communication and support during business hours
Requirements:
Experience with Australian companies and familiarity with Australian tax and GST regulations
Proficiency in MYOB software (experience with Xero or QuickBooks also valued)
Bookkeeping certification preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent communication skills for email management and client interaction
Ability to work collaboratively with existing team members
Availability to work part-time during Sydney business hours
Scopes:
