Job Description
European Import/Export Operator
Our client is currently looking for a Road freight operator for their European department working on the key accounts team. The company has offices based throughout the UK and this role is based at their London Gateway site in Essex. Due to the location you will need to be a car driver.
Duties will include:
Working within a department of 15 people part of a wider team of 47.
Handling European groupage services.
Arranging movement of freight from origin to final destination both international and national.
Liaising with customers overseas partners and suppliers.
Requirements
Skills required:
Must have a good understanding of European road freight at least 2 years experience.
Capable of manually calculating costs and charges.
Understanding of taxable kilos.
Good customer service skills.
Experience with Customs paperwork.
Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.

Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm.
