Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade MDM solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance data integration and architecture design in large regulated or data-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement end-to-end MDM solutions aligned with enterprise data strategies and business goals
- Define and enforce data governance policies data quality frameworks and MDM best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Enterprise Architects Data Stewards and Business Units to define critical data domains (customer vendor product etc.)
- Lead MDM platform evaluations and selections and guide implementation across tools such as Informatica Reltio IBM InfoSphere or Semarchy
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards (GDPR CCPA HIPAA etc.)
- Support data integration with enterprise systems (CRM ERP Data Lakes/Warehouses) using APIs and ETL frameworks
- Develop roadmaps and technical documentation to support data management initiatives
- Promote adoption of metadata master and reference data management strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science Information Systems or related discipline
- 15 years of experience in enterprise data architecture or data engineering roles
- 10 years of hands-on experience in MDM design and implementation
- In-depth understanding of entity resolution survivorship golden record creation and hierarchy management
- Proficiency in data modelling data quality metadata management and master/reference data governance
- Experience with MDM tools (e.g. Informatica Reltio IBM MDM Talend)
- Strong knowledge of SQL REST APIs ETL tools and one or more programming languages (Python Java)
- Experience working in regulated industries with knowledge of compliance and privacy standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with cloud-based MDM implementations (AWS Azure or GCP)
- Familiarity with data catalog tools such as Collibra or Alation
- Prior involvement in enterprise data transformation initiatives
- MDM platform certifications or cloud architecture certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect)
