Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Senior Medical Planner to their San Francisco team!
Responsibilities:
- Work with hospital administration user groups and departments to plan healthcare facilities
- Assist with development/ analyses projects to communicate clearly through all phases of project
- Work with doctors nurses and other medical personnel to identify/address space needs
- Determine space requirements through research and analyses of space utilization
- Work closely with project managers contractors and consultants throughout all phases of projects
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Assist with business development including preparing proposals and participating in client interviews
- Monitor/coach team on the quality of drawings produced
- Work with team to develop/implement annual goals and objectives
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Keep current on new methodologies related to healthcare design planning sustainability LEAN and evidence-based design principles
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in architecture
- Master s degree preferred
- 12 years of mid-to-large healthcare project experience and medical planning
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and other industry accepted software
- Experience using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Salary is commensurate with experience.
