JavaProjectAst Manager

1. Operate various production equipment, including pumps, scales, hoists, transporters, Hilo, pH meters, wet color wheels, and CAP2000 meters
2. Wash equipment (e.g., tanks, pumps, piping, loading chutes) and maintain cleanliness of the production area
3. Load materials into tanks ranging from 50 to 4,500 gallons; handle bag stock, drums, and kegs
4. Perform in-process quality tests (e.g., dirt checks, viscosity, pH, wet color) and make adjustments per lab instructions
5. Filter and fill off product into drums, totes, bulk storage, or pails; ensure proper labeling per process, DOT, and customer requirements
6. Use power material handling equipment (PMHE) to move materials safely and efficiently
7. Complete audits (safety showers, fire extinguishers, training records, equipment checks) and support lean manufacturing efforts
8. Perform basic maintenance and switch-outs to keep operations running
9. Operate computer-controlled systems including FEL and SAP for process tracking and production tasks
10. Train new team members as needed
11. Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines, along with applicable area-specific procedures (AOPs)

1. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety procedures
2. Strong communication skills for reporting and team interaction
3. Basic math skills including fractions, percentages, and unit conversions
4. Sound problem-solving and reasoning abilities
5. Familiarity with computer systems and data entry
6. Physically able to lift, move, and operate production equipment as needed

1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Completion of Level 3 operator training
3. Transporter license and Hilo license (required for filling operations)
4. Respirator fit test required
