As the Account Manager TELCO SMB you will be responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities building long-term partnerships and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs. Acting as the conduit between commercial customers and JB Hi-Fi group the Account Manager will lead with JB Hi-Fis purpose to help effectively becoming the customer advocate to ensure optimal outcomes. The approach to market is based on retention growth and acquisition strategies with a focus on building net new customers and long lasting relationships with customers.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Building and executing a sales strategy to acquire new business incorporate innovative approaches to showcase the value proposition of JB Hi-Fi Business
- Developing and implementing lead generation strategies for new customers dormant customers and build relationships with partners and suppliers to capture referrals
- Developing and maintaining trusted relationships up and down the value chain (customers suppliers partners) become the first point of contact ensuring a positive experience for the customer and partner/supplier
- Managing the sales cycle from start to finish from initial engagement to discovery to solution
- Actively seek out and meet with customers weekly and manage quarterly business reviews with larger spend customers. Get out in front of customers is key to success
- Ensuring Salesforce is up to date and accurate maintain accurate forecasting (weekly/monthly) and reporting where applicable
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Strong Telecommunication knowledge products and systems (Telstra preferred)
- Proficient in prospecting lead generation and relationship building
- Proven track record in maintaining and exceeding sales targets acquiring net new business exceeding sales budgets maintaining sales forecasts and Salesforce compliance
- An ability to analyse industry data internal sales data and customer data to prepare engagement strategies and presentations.
- Experienced and confident with communicating at all levels including senior management and c-level executives.
- Experience working within a fast-paced sales environment and growing sales revenue and profitability across customer patch and individual customers
- Technology experience across IT hardware software and services a plus (not mandatory)
- Salesforce experience beneficial
- Current drivers license
