Job Description

The IT Manager will: 

Ensure and optimize ITs contribution to the profitability and operational goals of the plant by providing suitable reliable and cost efficient IT services. Is responsible for further developing and implementing enhanced systems within the Corporate strategy to improve process support and cost structures.

  • Manages and leads the local IT Organization
  • Sets up the plant IT Budget within the defined framework monitors and tracks IT costs and takesappropriate actions.
  • Focal point for all IT related topics for the local Management and Key users in the plant.
  • Ensures stable and reliable IT Operations of infrastructure systems and applications according to the defined SLA (Service Level Agreements) and ensures data security and safety of stored data
  • Coordinates leads and/or participates in the implementation of Global IT systems and services in the plant
  • Focal point on IT related issues in the plant for Central IT (CCs) in order to ensure good cooperation between local and central support teams of global applications. Acts as interface into plant departments e.g. plant engineering
  • Ensure all ESH procedures policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems or equivalent required. 
  • 10 years of experience in IT
  • 18 months experience of leading people (including matrix/indirect reporting) or project leader experience.  Min. 5 years experience in leading people teams and mid size volume projects
  • Experience in international / matrix organizations.  Fluent English.  International assignment experience for at least 2 years.
  • Internal qualified candidates will meet internal guidelines for this executive level role
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification Microsoft Lotus VMWare or other technology related fields desired.
  • Other Experience in design and construction of IT in a manufacturing facility desired.

The starting annual salary for this role is $142160- $177700 a year.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations
