GrabRentals (GR) is a core pillar of Grabs Mobility business with the primary objective of securing vehicular and productive hirer-partners supply for Grabs ride-hailing marketplace. GR manages 2 businesses- a PHV rental fleet and the new GrabCab taxi fleet. GrabCab is Singapores newest taxi fleet with a 100% low-emission mix of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles.

Get to know the Team:
The GrabRentals and GrabCab team houses its own strategy partner management productivity pricing sales marketing operations teams as well as other functions. We also work closely with other teams in Grab spanning across regional operations Mobility and IoT tech teams and business analytics.
In the Acquisition & Retention team we focus on managing the lifecycle of our hirer-partners. We curate their experience recruiting them and ensuring they are supported with a best-in-class rental experience.
Get to Know the Role
As the Acquisition and Retention Manager you will own the customer lifecycle strategy across GrabRentals and GrabCabs hirer-partners.
Lead and oversee a team of over 15 members consisting of both full-time and part-time staff across sales and customer engagement functions. Attract inspire and retain top performers.
Collaborate with sales marketing business and operations teams to drive revenue growth.
Oversee the entire sales process converting inbound leads and managing outbound channels to exceed sales target. Conduct data-driven analysis to optimise sales channels pipelines and business performance.
Establish and grow new sales channels to support business growth and expansion. Develop and implement Go-To-Market plans and sales playbooks for new channels and products.
Manage the customer engagement team to ensure smooth daily operations resolve issues and handle escalations.
Conduct reviews and optimize policies and processes to boost customer retention.
Ensure consistent and high-quality experiences across online and offline touchpoints.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
At least 5 years of proven track record in sales strategy business analytics or operations preferably in tech or startup environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) to translate analysis into actionable insights and executive presentations. Proficiency in a local second language is an advantage.
Resilience and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment. Self-motivated to drive innovation.
Strong influencing skills and collaborative style to lead teams and work with other related departments to drive results with minimal supervision.
Willing to be hands-on as needed and proactively assumes responsibilities for ones actions.
Strong people skills with a customer-oriented service attitude. Able to initiate and maintain strong relationships with our hirer-partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint) and Google applications. Knowledge of Excel formulas and functions is preferred. High competency in data analytics tools is an added advantage.
